The Chelmsford Learning Partnership is a Trust of 11 schools and is seeking a highly organised, proactive Finance Assistant to work in our central office and play a vital role in keeping our schools running smoothly and efficiently.

What you will be doing

Providing financial assistant and support to the Trust and schools and assist with the day to day running of the department
Supporting budget monitoring and financial reporting
Administering school trips and ParentPay systems
Maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Providing high-quality administrative support across trust operations
Essential Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in finance, accounting, or financial administration
Educated to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
Confident using financial systems and IT packages
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Able to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
A clear communicator, able to liaise effectively with staff and stakeholders
Calm under pressure and a strong team player
You will also bring

Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Confidence supporting and advising staff on financial matters
A commitment to high professional standards, confidentiality, and accuracy

Information about the School

The Chelmsford Learning Partnership (CLP) is an emerging multi-academy trust based in Springfield, Chelmsford. The trust was formerly known as The Boswells Academy Trust but changed name in late 2017 to reflect the growth of the trust beyond one school. There are currently 8 schools across Essex in the CLP multi academy trust.

The schools in the CLP are: Barnes Farm Primary School, Lakelands Primary School, Perryfields Infant School, Roding Valley High School, Rettendon Primary School, Runwell Community Primary School, The Beaulieu Park School, The Boswells School, The Tyrrells Primary School, William de Ferrers School and Woodville Primary School.
