Trust Finance Assistant
Scale 5 (c£16,175)
25 hours per week
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 2.30pm (includes a 30-minute unpaid break)
Term time including inset days, plus 5 days during school closure periods, a total of 40 working weeks
Starting date - to commence as soon as possible
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trust Finance Assistant to join our highly motivated and productive Trust Finance Central team based at Great Baddow High School in Chelmsford. As part of the central team, you will be providing support to all the schools within the Trust, currently 1 secondary and 7 primaries.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable, and competent member of staff who has excellent organisational and communication skills and able to work well as part of the team. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high standard of numeracy and literacy and have excellent Microsoft Office skills. A knowledge of Arbor, IRIS Financials would be an advantage. Experience of working within a school/trust finance department or finance environment would be preferred.
The post will include the processing of orders, and invoices, assisting with telephone and email enquires, inputting journals in IRIS Financials, document scanning, and the filing financial records.
