Examinations Manager
Salary: Essex Scale 7, Point 19-24
£28,837.57 - £31,851.66 actual per annum
(Plus Outer Fringer Allowance of £655.71 per annum)

37 hours per week
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm, Friday 8am - 3.30pm(30 minute unpaid break for lunch)
41 weeks of the year - term time + inset days + 15 additional days
(Largely during the summer break to prepare for A-level and GCSE results)


Start Date: January/February 2026


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible Examinations Manager to join our school.
The successful candidate will have experience in examinations and line management. You would be
responsible for the coordination and administration of all functions associated with all internal and external examinations and organisation throughout the academic year.

What we are looking for:

• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of exam regulations and procedures (desirable)
• Proficiency in data management systems and Microsoft Office
• A proactive, professional approach with outstanding communication skills

During non-exam periods, the Examinations Manager would contribute to the effective organisation of the
school with administrative and clerical support.

BCHS is located in the heart of Brentwood, near the town centre, a short distance from the train station,
which is 25 minutes from Liverpool Street Station. The school, also includes a large sixth form campus and

transport links by both rail and bus. BCHS is just over two miles from the M25.

schools within Essex. All schools in the Trust work in equal partnership and are members of the schools'
