We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable After School Provision Supervisor to lead and manage our after-school provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play a key role in providing a safe, engaging, and fun environment outside of school hours.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and lead the daily operation of the after-school club.
· Ensure all children are safe, happy, and engaged in age-appropriate activities.
· Plan and deliver a variety of structured and free-play sessions, including creative, physical, and educational activities.
· Manage and support after-school staff, ensuring clear communication and effective teamwork.
· Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure all safeguarding, first aid, and health & safety procedures are followed.
· Communicate professionally with parents/carers, responding to enquiries and sharing relevant information as needed.
· Monitor supplies and request resources to support the program.
· Report any safeguarding or behaviour concerns to the appropriate school lead in line with policy.
· Support inclusion and ensure that the provision is welcoming and accessible to all children.
· Participate in relevant training and professional development.
We are seeking someone who is:
Passionate about working with children and creating a positive environment.
Organised, reliable, and able to manage a small team.
A good communicator with children, parents, and staff.
A positive role model with high expectations of behaviour and respect.
Ideally experienced in childcare and/or education (though training can be provided).
Qualifications & Experience
Preferably Level 3 qualification in childcare/teaching assistant (desirable).
First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete).
Experience of working with children in a school or childcare setting.
