Due to the increasing number of children attending our popular Afterschool Club, we are seeking to appoint an Afterschool Club Assistant to work alongside the Afterschool Club Supervisor, providing supervision and a snack to children aged 7 - 11 years old.
The position is for 2.75 hours per week, term time only, working Wednesday afternoons from 3:15pm - 6:00pm. This is for one evening per week, with the opportunity for more hours as sickness or holiday cover.
The role includes:
· Supervising children and ensuring their safety at all times.
· Setting up activities for children to optionally take part in and engaging with children in aspects of play and conversation.
· Preparing and clearing away food. The ideal candidate would hold a Food Hygiene certificate or be willing to undertake.
This is a part-time permanent position with an immediate start.
