Cover Supervisor

Job Description

The Headteacher of Thorpedene Primary School and Nursery and the CEO of Southend East Community Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a part-time Cover Supervisor. The postholder will work across the school, to provide cover for teachers when they are absent from the classroom, delivering lessons planned by themselves and/or the class teacher, and reportingon development,progress and attainment.

It is essential that the appointed applicant has GCSE Mathsand Englishor equivalent at Grade C or 4 and above and ideally has experience of leading whole class teaching.

Thorpedene is a very successful Primary School and a member of the SECAT Academy Trust. It is a large school educating and caring for approx. 500 children and 90 employees.
