Danbury Park Community Primary School is seeking an inclusive and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team.
We are delighted to welcome an enthusiastic LSA to work part time in our EYFS and Key Stage 1 classes, supporting children with additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping every child feel valued, included and able to succeed.
Hours: 8 sessions a week
8:45am - 12:15pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
12:45pm - 3:25pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
The ideal candidate will:
- be dedicated to supporting high standards of learning and care
- show flexibility, initiative and a genuine commitment to meeting each child's needs, while being happy to take direction
- engage young children in creative and inspiring ways
- work well as part of a team, collaborating closely with staff, parents and the wider school community
- communicate effectively with children, colleagues and parents
- help uphold positive behaviour and a warm, encouraging classroom atmosphere
- bring a good sense of humour and a friendly approach when working with young children and colleagues
